2) Faith: Believing the gospel➙ Who Jesus Christ is: truly man & the one true God (He's not the person of the Father or the Spirit, but eternally & fully shares the one *Being* of God with them) & trusting *only* in His finished redemptive work (perfect life, death on a cross for the sins of sinners, & resurrection) for your salvation.✞
If you genuinely do this, you will be instantly and permanently covered by the righteousness of Christ & He will have been treated as if He committed all of your past, present, & future sins (Even better, this would begin a relationship with your Creator).
If you refuse the offer of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, you will be judged according to your works: and unless you have lived without even one sin like Christ, will end in eternal conscious condemnation. (Also why you don't want to add *any* of your own merit) ❌

Luke 18:13- But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying 'God be merciful to me, the sinner!' (Repentance)
John 8:24- Jesus says "for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins." (That's the one thing you don't want to happen to you)
2 Corinthians 5:21- He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Colossians 2:13- having forgiven us (those who truly believe) all our transgressions
Romans 3:28- For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.
James 2:10- For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.
Revelation 20:13-14- And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them *according to their deeds*.
